llms.txt generator
llms.txt is a proposed Markdown file that tells language models what is on your site and where to find the most important content. Fill in the fields and we assemble the file for you.
One line: Title | URL | short description. The description is optional. The URL starts with https:// or /.
Your data never leaves your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
How to use it
- Enter the site name and a one-sentence summary.
- Add link lines in the format “Title | URL | description”, one per line.
- Optionally put less important links in the Optional section.
- Copy or download the file and place it in the domain root as /llms.txt.
What llms.txt is for
An ordinary page is full of navigation, scripts and ads that make it harder for a model to read the point. llms.txt is a concise table of contents in plain Markdown that points to the best sources on your site.
The file format
A first-level heading with the site name is required. After it come an optional quote with a summary and any text, then second-level sections with lists of links. The Optional section marks content that can be skipped when context is tight.
What to expect
It is an informal standard and not every AI provider reads the file. Treat it as a cheap extra on top of good site structure, a sitemap and solid content, not as a guarantee of being cited.
